생각과 배움을 글로 정리하는 것이 좋았다. 뜻깊은 경험의 순간을 글과 사진으로 기록하면, 왠지 하루라는 한 걸음을 진득하게 내딛은 것 같아 홀로 뿌듯했다. 고등학교 때 공부의 모든 보람을 노트 ‘단권화’에서 느꼈던 나는 대학 진학 이후 블로그에 매진했고, 프랑스에서 지낸 8개월 동안 수십개의 글을 썼다. 하지만 귀국 이후 1~2개의 단편적인 포스팅을 올렸을 뿐, 더 이상 글은 쓰지 않았다.
다시 글을 쓰는 것을 주저했던 이유 3가지
- 웹에 글을 쓰는 것에 대한 회의감 (=다솔닷컴을 보유하게 된 이유)
- 2012-13년 싸이월드 블로그에 열성을 쏟았다. 맛집/뷰티 파워블로거들에 비할 수 없는 작은 블로그였지만, 남들이 관심갖지 않는 프랑스 보르도(Bordeaux) 생활에 대해 쓰면서 포털 메인에 오르는 소소한 재미가 있었다. ‘내가 모르는 불특정 다수’보다는 ‘지인의 지인’ 정도까지 공유된다는 점도 내 성향에 맞았다.그런데 돌연 싸이월드는 SK컴즈에서 분리 된 후 서버 업데이트(..) 사건으로 나의 블로그 콘텐츠 / 구독자 / 댓글 및 모든 기록을 공중에 날린다. 이때 웹 상에 글을 쓰는 것에 대한 회의감을 크게 느꼈다. 타인이 보면 뭐 얼마나 대단한 기록이겠냐마는 홀로 꺼내보면서 뿌듯하던 일기장을 예고없이 누군가 버린 느낌이었다.그래서 이번에는 스스로의 기록을 공고히 저장할 웹사이트(다솔닷컴)를 함께 만들었다.
- 내 실력으로 글 써도 되나? 하는 걱정. 공부하면 할 수록 고수들이 보여.

- 누군가에게는 전문적인 글보다 쉬운 글이 좋을 수 있다는 것
- 용기내기에 큰 도움이 되었던 부분이다. 경영학과 문과생 출신으로, 스타트업계에 적응해가며 Product Develop과 데이터에 적응하기까지 홀로 고군분투하던 시간동안, 어려운 단어가 난무하던 글보다 나와 비슷한 배경을 가진 분들의 설명이 더 이해가 쉬웠던 적이 있다. 내 글은 어쩌면 ‘쉬워서’ 누군가에겐 효용이 있지 않을까.
- 배우고 매듭짓는 기쁨
- 사실 글쓰기는 무엇보다 자기효능감을 충족시켜 줄 것이라고 본다. 좋은 글은 ‘많이 읽는 것’으로 시작해야 하므로 끊임없이 읽고 공부하는 동력도 될 것이다. 그리고 운이 좋으면, 같은 고민을 하는 분들과 소통하며 조언도 얻을 수 있으리라 기대한다.
앞으로의 계획
- 개인적 가치관, 사업이야기, 인터넷 서비스 이야기, 데이터분석 이야기 등을 담아 소소하게 이야기를 풀어가고 싶다. 브런치는 주로 정보공유 위주로 풀어내려 노력(..) 하겠지만, 어느 순간 다양한 감상과 고민이 집적된 보따리가 되어버릴 수도 있겠다.
- 주영오빠와의 약속대로, 연말까지 2개를 일단 쓰고 (이 글을 살며시 그 “2개”에 포함해본다) 내년 4월까지 10개를 쓰는 것이 목표이다.
- 브런치에 남긴 글들은 모두 다솔닷컴(www.dasowl.com)에도 병행해서 저장하려고 한다.
